List of cancer mortality rates in the United States : ウィキペディア英語版 | List of cancer mortality rates in the United States
Mortality rates show how likely an individual is to die. The following table shows the percentage of cancer patients who die within five years of diagnosis. The higher the percentage, the more likely a sufferer is to die from that type of cancer within five years of being diagnosed, based on experience to date. As the table illustrates, some types of cancer have much better outcomes than others. For example, people diagnosed with breast cancer have a much better outcome than people diagnosed with stomach cancer. Only 10.8% of people diagnosed with breast cancer die within five years compared to 72.3% of people diagnosed with stomach cancer.
